A quote from the sculptor Henry Moore (via Rob Breszny–thank you, thank you),
“The secret of life is to a have a task, something you devote your life to, something you bring everything to, every minute of the day for your whole life. And the most important thing is–it must be something you cannot possibly do.”
…novel writing perhaps?
Yes, and then without a moment’s notice, when you stop striving, when you resign yourself completely, it does itself.
I think learning to stop striving will take most of my life.
