Am done! 53,246 words, and this year I even wrote a proper ending. Well, proper is debatable. Angst over the rewrite to start shortly…
But right now–hurray! I want champagne.

Whoo-hoo! Can’t offer champagne from here, but I’ll toast you with my day’s first tea!
Yay! You did it up right. Got your fifty thou AND finished the book. That’s awesome. I raise my coffee cup to you.
Wow, and all I did in November (besides journaling and recovering from agent rejections) was come up with the idea for my next novel. I salute you!
You amaze me. For me: maybe next year. I got farther than I thought I would.
Yippee Kaiiay!
I got to 53k, but not done. Closer to done than any of the previous years, though (probably because I’m kind of finishing book 2, although I like to think of it as a sequel.)
I too am thinking of revising. It’s funny how writing a mess like nano helps you get clear on what needs to be there. Or maybe it’s 3 years of nano on the same project.
Have some chocolate and celebrate!
Congrats! I knew you’d finish.
Congratulations! And good luck on the next steps.
You need to get over to Burning Lines. That joint’s a rockin’.
Many congratulations!!! You continually inspire me.
Raising a toast to you (it happens to be hot tea, but let’s pretend it’s champagne).
