Today begins spring break. In my neck of the woods anyway. When the break is over, I’ll go back to school, but only for two days a week. With my new free-from-paying-work time, I’m supposed to make something of myself. Write. Make art. Make a mistake?
I’m excited about the time. Worried that I should be in class come Monday morning.

My kids’ spring break started today. It’s great that you get to have more time to write. And if things get a little financially tight, could you probably expand your hours again? I can’t wait to see how productive you are with a little extra time. Hope your adjustment is quick and painless. I’ve been a stay-at-home mom for 4 years now, and I’ve been nervous almost that whole time. lol
I could pick up some tutoring hours if necessary. And next semester I could pick up more classes. We’ll see!

Ah yes. Opportunities are the most frightening things to find in your way, aren’t they? I tend to look at them like wallets lying on the sidewalk — There’s got to be a string leading around the corner, right? I’m about to embarrass myself, aren’t I???

My dad pulled that wallet on the string trick when he was a kid. I always worry about that string. So, no pressure.
