May be this is too much.
I’ve participated in NaNoWriMo 7 times. And each time I wrote more than 50,000 words. Last year I wrote all 31 stories for Story-a-Day. But finally, this time, I’m stuck. I started a story, but this day has just not been good..
Oh but who cares? Everyone has a bad day. The main thing is, I’m in actual pain and can’t concentrate on anything. Here is my post for today (because why screw up the other challenge as well?) and on my fiction blog I’ve posted half a story. That’s all I’ve got. No links. No observations. No questions.
Hope, however, that you are well.
I hope you feel better soon. 🙂
Thank you, Darcs. And I am feeling better today! Wahoo! Don’t know how I’ll feel when I write the next story though…
I am so behind on the story a day challenge. I’m going to have to write two per day to catch up, I think. I know that I have to finish in May so I can edit/rewrite in June, since I want to self-publish this collection.
I chastise myself, but really do believe that if you’re writing, you’re doing well. Have you self-published before? What platform will you use? Keep me posted!
Aw, sorry you’re hurting. 😦 I think half a story counts. Because isn’t the point to get you writing every day? Hope you’re feeling better today.
It is funny how I would tell anyone else half a story counts, but seem to think that isn’t true for me. Must check on internal-contradictions. And thanks, Sherri, I do feel better today.
I have skipped two days in the story a day challenge, and I’ve taken more than one day to write a couple of longer stories. I still consider it a win, because I’m doing much more than I normally would.
It sounds like you’re doing wonderfully. Look at all you’ve accomplished this month! You could slack for the whole rest of the month, and you would still have done a whole heck of a lot.
I hope you feel better soon! AND I’m very glad to know you’re feeling better. And congrats on sticking with the challenges no matter how you felt.
