October begins! This is the month my novel, The Blue Jar, enters the world as an e-book. At some point, the book may appear in paper form as well. And what writer doesn’t dream of holding her book in her hand? I try to be realistic, but I am a writer and an artist. I don’t lack for flights of imagination.
One thing about working with a publisher is the sense of validation having someone else want to help make your novel a reality. Not everyone needs this sort of validation, but I certainly do. I’m neurotic enough as it is. If I were going on this publishing journey on my own, I’d be a real mess.
As the countdown to my publication date begins (October 12th!), I want to acknowledge the hard work and faith my publisher, Plum Tree Books, has put into my novel. It has changed my life for the better.
Thank you, Niamh.
Congratulations Marta. I wish you very success with the book. If Niamh has her way it will be. Don’t her magic words just surround you like a beautiful warm blanket of hope. She’s an exceptioal lady and it must help knowing that she has faith in your book too.

Hi Marta,
You do need to be acknowledged for this singular achievement. While wishing you graet success with the book, what else could you do to spread awareness of your toils?
