I hate it when I come up with a title only to discover someone else has already used it. Have you done that? What are the rules? I’ve searched for books before and found several books with the same or very similar titles, but usually they’re in different genres or written generations apart. Most of the time, i don’t think anyone was stealing a title. It isn’t that hard for two people to come up with the same idea.
Anyway,an artist has already used the title The Obituary Project. She isn’t doing the same sort of thing I want to do, but it still seems wrong now to use the title. So, I’m trying to think of something else.
We shall see. It’s like trying to rename your kid though. Certain names or titles just feel right.
Damn.
The Obituary Project as a title is perfect. How long ago was it used before? What about “Scheme” or “Design” or “Mission’ just a few other choices. Good luck. The Title is so important. ❤ jk
just one more “The Obituary Position”
