I’m still working on this novel. I’ve had some feedback on earlier versions of the manuscript, but now I’m on my own sorting this mess out. One thing I don’t like about writing on a computer is having to scroll back forth in the manuscript to find scenes. I want to see several scenes at the same time.
Ideally, I’d have a big wall I could tape the manuscript to. Then I could pick scenes up, move them around, and leave spaces where something is missing. Anyway, I have a small section of a wall, and it really isn’t enough for what I want to do. The pages drag the floor, and I’ve got three dogs. I can’t have anything dragging the floor.
I want to have this done, like yesterday. And then I need to find a new publisher. I am not looking forward to the search, but that’s neither here nor there. The work is the thing!
When this manuscript is done, I have another to work on. And another that after. And another after that. I’ll run out of time before I run out of manuscripts to work on.
It’s great to be so prolific.
I never feel like it’s enough.
