Hello from December!
This last weekend, I had a both at a local art fair. It is, by far, my favorite of the different fairs and festivals I’ve taken part in. This is possibly because it is indoors. No heat, no wind, no rain threatens my work or wears me down. The fair featured “established” artists (adults) and “emerging” artists (students). I love the mix of teens and grownups. I chatted with some of the kids and they were fun, their work creative and fresh. It’s fun to see young artists encouraged and supported.
I’m still between sites for selling my art. The reasons are probably tedious and boring, and I won’t bother you with them (unless you have some wild impulse to ask), so when art fair shoppers asked me about my site…it’s awkward! But I have RedBubble. Prints and things are available there:
My paper ornaments were popular! They’re made of paper and string. Sometimes a bead is added. I have a few left, and I plan to make more. I’ll experiment more too.
If you’re interested in buying one, let me know. They’re $7. plus $3. shipping.
In other news, ideas are, as usual, brewing. I’m looking forward to my time off.
“…ideas are, as usual, brewing”: (laughing) Yes, I think we’ve pretty much learned to expect that — you seem inexhaustible!
Brew those ideas! They’re always delicious!
