Since I’m jumping in over my head I might as well have as many witnesses as possible. I’m going to apply to the Art City Austin festival (and here I was thinking I wasn’t having a midlife crisis. ha.). So, I’ve got to choose 4 photographs/scans of my work to submit. There are a ton of shots here, but if you have a strong desire to offer your opinion on which ones to include, I’d appreciate the help. It is voting season after all.

Those are my faves. I know that’s more than four, but I couldn’t narrow it more than that. They are beautiful. And I want one.
I meant “one of them”, if I could only buy one, I’d buy 15.
I vote for 14, 15, 16, and 19.
If I were you, I’d select the images of highest resolution, clarity, and quality. For example, I wouldn’t recommend using the images that have a yellow cast; nor would I use #6, which is blurry (when I clicked on the image to see it larger, it was).
If I were going to choose one to buy, it’s #16.

I’d say 9, 15, 17, and 22.
And since rowena already started us down the path to runner-ups: 7, 11, maybe 18. I kinda like 1, as well, but it doesn’t seem to enlarge like the others do. Is that a… a… footprint at the bottom right?
11, 14, 15 and 22. I’d buy one of those. How about if you forget the art show and sell to us? 🙂

I picked these because they’re my favorites, but they are also more detailed, and I think because of that they showcase your talent better.

I second MPJ’s motion. Sell to us. Really. We won’t charge you $500 to make a pretend booth, and we’re cute, AND loyal, and we like you and your art.
Go ahead and do the booth. Obviously the blog isn’t averting your midlife crisis ;), but we can turn you into an artist of the paid variety, well, beyond your writing…

Thank you everyone. This is a huge help. So, for those of you who want to know, I don’t have to do the pretend booth after all–though I still have to pay the fee to be in. Eeek. And I am going to look into how to sell things online–another eek. So far the “winners” are numbers 22, 15, 14, 9, & 7.
I think I now have to get to work…
I’m late with my vote, but 9 is my favorite, and 14 is another gem. Oh, they are all gems!
