Some days just drain the imagination, drive, and determination. This little video was a nice gleam at the end of a long gray day.
What do you do for fun anyway?

This was pretty cool. Makes me wanna take the stairs. 🙂
Okay, maybe not.
What? You still wouldn’t take the stairs? I’m going to start calling you The Fun Avoider. Unless of course you have some real reason for not taking the stairs, and so I will feel like a jerk for giving you a hard time. But until then–take the stairs!
Hahahaha, I love that! That is so cool!
What do I do for fun? Oh, nothing as seriously fun as that. 🙂
Well, making musical stairs takes fun and funds. But maybe you can be inspired to make other things fun in your life.
That is so awesome! You know, I think that’s one thing I’ve been struggling with, having fun. I went a long time doing nothing for myself, not even little things like taking a walk if I felt like it. The reasons are many, but they’re also lessening now, so I’m having to relearn how to have fun. There’s this weird guilt associated with everything I enjoy…and half the things I think I enjoy, I only do those because other people wanted me to at some point along the path, and if I examine them I don’t enjoy them because I enjoy them, but because I’m fulfilling someone else’s expectations. That didn’t make sense at all.
I don’t know. I’m working on it.
I saw a writing exercise somewhere that suggested writing down all the things you like and dislike that have nothing to do with anyone else. What do you like that can’t be connected to a family member? I was surprised when I actually had to think of things that way. My list was very short.
Ha! Hadn’t seen this before, but had seen the “world’s deepest dustbin” and thought it was hilarious. The whole collection (well, three so far) is at the Fun Theory site.
(A cynical side of me wishes they could do this sort of “prankish” good thing in the US as well as Sweden, but recognizes the realities.)
But you’re right. Stopping to smell (or make) the fun is at least as important as stopping to smell the flowers!
I saw those other ads. Can’t wait for them to add more.
Hope you’ve had fun recently.
