Hiding until the fun starts.

a kiddo hiding in oatmeal and rice

I think I’ve been hiding. Not hiding very well, mind you, but hiding.

What more could be said about writing at this point? Perhaps I’ve said all I can say? Perhaps I am repeating my complaints and anxieties? So, what is this space for?

When this question is answered, I’ll let you know (assuming you’re still here). In the meantime, I’ve started a tumblr account just for fun. It isn’t about writing (though sometimes it might be). It is just a place to put things that strike my fancy, catch my attention, or whatever. You know, something for fun!

Fun. Now there is a concept.

    1. Yeah, I saw it a knew it was me.

We’ll see what the tumblr thing turns out to be. I’m just going to post things I like whether they have anything to do with writing or whatever. And things I wouldn’t necessarily post to facebook either.

When the idea strikes you, at least you’ll be ready to go!

  1. Ooooh, check out the new paint job! Looks cool! 😀

Everyone needs to “cave” once in a while. Some more than others, but we all need it, to recharge, regroup, think. Enjoy your “downtime.”

    And that’s the beauty of a Reader – we don’t miss a thing. 🙂

  2. You know, it’s funny … I thought about this theme when I saw it the other day. It looks really good here. 🙂 Suits you.

I hope you can find other things to say and keep this space going. But if you don’t, I never tire of sharing rants and raves with other writers, and I’ll bet, as weird as I am, I’m not the only one who feels that way. 🙂

Yes, have downtime. Maybe you need it. But … you’ll come back, right? I’d miss seeing you.

    1. This theme doesn’t seem dark enough for you, Darc.

I know you feel differently on a lot of writerly subjects, but I enjoy the exchange. Keeps me thinking. I’m sure I’ll be back, but I’ve got to gather up some more steam. Or something. And there is always your place.

  3. Looking forward to watching what you do with Tumblr. So far I’m drawing a blank with my own account (not that I’m keeping it up-to-date… maybe fiddling with it makes it more obvious, a la Twitter?).
