I’m sitting down to rewrite my sci-fi fairytale. It’s be a lie to say I know I’m doing. The story may be more than I have the skills to handle. But what’s the point of it if I’m not learning and challenging myself?

It will be amazing if I can pull it off! That is, I’ll be happy. Whether anyone else will be is open to debate.

I’ve written a great deal of backstory. I’ve sorted out the universe I’ve created. How does the story come together without getting bogged down in info dump?

Of course, every time I sit down to write, the urge to nap comes over me. Either that or the impulse to draw or to craft. Eventually, however, this will be written even the midst of holiday madness.
