Today was the summer solstice. A year ago today, we had our housewarming party to celebrate moving into our very first house. A week from today I’ll have my fourth chemo treatment (12 more to go after that).
Before I’m done with chemo, I’ll have another book out that I’ve illustrated. Soon after I finish chemo, my first novel, The Blue Jar, will be published (A cheer for my publisher!) and I’ll turn 45. Around Christmas I’ll have more surgery. Eventually, sometime, I hope sooner rather than later, my hair will grow back.
My son will start 5th grade.
The closer it gets to my novel’s release date, October 12th, the more real that will seem. Right?
Oh. And the Doctor Who 50th Anniversary Special will air! Fantastic. Lots to look forward to this year.
What are you looking forward to?
I’m looking forward to reading you’ve got the all clear after your chemo. Let’s hope you can celebrate a best selling novel and new hair in October. xxx Hugs xxx
That would be lovely. Thank you.
I am looking forward to the release of all our books and to the success of Plum Tree Books!
Yes. Yes. Yes!
Our family cruise to Hawaii in October. It cannot get here fast enough.
Wow. That should be fantastic!
I hope so. I need to escape desperately.
what an absolutely fabulous photograph. But two Marthas?
Hmm. Nope. One Martha. And a Gwen Cooper, Tashiko Sato, and Uhura.
Ahh that would explain it – goes to spec savers
