I've had a long day and didn't have the energy for writing. Also our air conditioner isn't working, and that's not helped me brain at all. But I wrote a bit of backstory anyway so that at least it's here to come back to. Thanks for reading! Every government minister except for Neptune’s Finty McGrew …
Story-a-Day September marches on! Thanks for reading. Ten-year-old Marcel tapped a few keys on the keyboard, watched the screen go blank, and smiled before turning around to face the man waiting for him. “There,” he said. “I’m all done.” The man frowned. “You can’t be done.” Marcel pushed his chair back. “See for yourself.” The …
However readers may judge the writing, I'm learning a lot about my characters and their worlds. Thanks for reading along, everyone. On the last night of the Five Moon Festival, Kiminoki made her first truly serious mistake. She could blame staying up for days or too many distractions, but whatever the reason, the damage was …
More backstory! And as always, thanks for reading. Fifteen-year-old Rarity Vaine believed. She couldn’t remember a time she didn’t. Discovering the moment she believed would have been like marking the moment she discovered air. And without both, air and belief, came death. She shivered in spite of her heavy dress. It's been a long and busy Monday. When I finally sat down to write, I had no ideas. Nonetheless, I wanted to write something, even if it was almost nothing. So, I decided to add something to my sci-fi fairytale holy book. I googled "famous psalms." (Google is really going to have a very inaccurate …
I was at a basketball tournament all day today. Sports centers aren't exactly conducive to my writing frame of mind, but I still wanted to write something. So, I scribbled a few lines while sitting at one of those uncomfortable, metal mesh-like picnic tables these sorts of places always seem to have, and here it …
Story-a-Day September marches on! After today, finding writing time is going to be more of a challenge, but I'll do what I can. In the meantime, today I sort of combined a backstory with a story from the alternative universe's holy book. Thanks for reading! The other parents at the temple told Bless Far not …
